About
The broker behind Jackson Loans
No call centres, no being passed around. When you work with Jackson Loans, you work with me — one person who learns your situation and stays with you from first chat to settlement and beyond.
My story
Hi, I’m Ari Jackson — a numbers guy with a people-first approach to property and finance.
At Jackson Loans, everything starts with three core values: make the complex simple, tailor every solution, and look after clients for life. Those values shape how I work — clear advice, smart strategy, and genuine long-term care for every client.
With experience in the finance industry, my passion is to simplify complex ideas and help people make decisions with confidence — bringing together problem solving and a genuine drive to help people achieve their goals.
For most of us, buying a first home isn’t just a transaction — it’s a milestone. It’s the result of years of hard work, discipline and ambition. My job is to make that process clear, simple, and achievable — whether you’re looking to buy your first home, refinance to get a better deal, or rent-vest and build your investment portfolio. I’ll work with you to tailor a strategy that fits your goals, lifestyle and long-term plans, and I’ll be in your corner for every step after.
No jargon. No cookie-cutter advice. Just smart, strategic lending built around you.

Why use a broker
Why work with a broker (not just your bank)
Your bank can only offer you your bank’s products. A broker starts with your situation and works across the market to find the loan that actually fits — here’s what that means in practice.
The whole market, not one shelf
I compare all lenders, from the big banks to smaller specialists you may never have heard of. That’s a far wider view than any single branch can give you — and it often turns up options you didn’t know you had.
Someone in your corner
A bank works for the bank. I work for you — matching lenders to your goals, handling the paperwork and lender back-and-forth, and translating the fine print into plain English so you can decide with confidence.
No cost to you in most cases
In almost every case my service costs you nothing — the lender pays a commission once your loan settles. If anything about your situation is different, I’ll tell you upfront before you commit to a thing.
How I work
Straightforward, patient, on your side
A few questions I hear a lot — here’s the honest version. These are general answers; the specifics depend on your circumstances and the lender.
Is there really no cost?
In most cases, yes. Lenders pay brokers a commission when a loan settles, so my help usually costs you nothing. Some less common situations can work differently — if that ever applies to you, I’ll explain it clearly and in writing before you agree to anything.
Do we have to meet in person?
Not unless you’d like to. Plenty of clients prefer to do everything by phone, email and video call, and the whole process can run online from start to finish. If you’d rather sit down together, that’s completely fine too — whatever suits you.
What do you need from me to start?
To begin, just a conversation about your goals and where you’re at. As things progress, a lender will typically want to see identification, proof of income, and a picture of your expenses and any existing debts. I’ll give you a clear checklist so nothing catches you off guard.
How long does it take?
It varies with your situation and the lender, so I won’t pretend there’s a single number. What I can promise is that I’ll keep the process moving, chase approvals on your behalf, and keep you updated in plain language at each step rather than leaving you wondering.
